SilverCloud was founded in Grand Junction, Colorado in 1985. It consisted of a number of champion and group placing Bouvier des Flandres. In 1993 a black and tan miniature wire Dachshund named " Junior" joined the troupe and life has not been the same since!  The balance between Bouviers and Dachshunds gradually shifted. SilverCloud now consists of multiple wire, smooth and long miniature champion and group placing Dachshunds and only one Bouvier des Flandres!

In 1996, SilverCloud relocated to sunny Arizona. Our home is atop a hill near the Bradshaw Mountains 35 miles north of Phoenix in Black Canyon City.

Our goal at SilverCloud is to continually strive to improve the quality of our miniatures' conformation and temperament through careful, planned breedings with a focus on avoiding genetic health issues. Providing the best possible environment, exercise and feeding program also play a major part. All the SilverCloud "kids" are part of our family and therefore house dogs.
